Buffalo Games (http://buffalogames.com/)
Buffalo Games started in 1986 with the idea of bringing new kinds of games and puzzles to America.  Their first runaway bestseller, the double sided Worlds’ Most Difficult Jigsaw Puzzle, virtually defined the specialty jigsaw puzzle. Exclusive partnerships with some of the industry’s best artists and hottest licenses have helped propel Buffalo games to the top of the adult jigsaw puzzle category.  Their properties include Coca-Cola, Peanuts, Harley-Davidson, William Wegman, CF Payne, and many more.  In 1998 they started to produce engaging, laugh-out-loud party games, and did so in a big way.  They all follow the principle that games should be easy to learn and fun to play, and make family get-togethers, parties and game nights more fun)
• Phone Frenzy (this calling, texting, picture message party game lets you use your cell phones to call and text friends, and complete hilarious challenges in four categories -- can you convince your dad to get a pedicure with you? - can your best friend name the five Spice Girls - Phone Frenzy is not what you know but WHO you know and who you can text - love this idea -- it's perfect for today's day and age!)
• Gotcha! (this party game breaks all the rules - players race to hit the buzzer whenever they see someone breaking a rule – all the while making sure they themselves are following the rules - the more rules that are played, the funnier the game gets – a perfect mix of laugh-out-loud fun and hectic mayhem)
• Puzzle - 750 Piece Panoramics (when assembled, these puzzles are over three feet wide and feature beautiful photography and breathtaking artwork - from wonderful attractions and interesting places around the globe like New York City, Niagara Falls and the New Mexico Balloon Festival to heartwarming themes like Monet's Water Lilies and Hautman Brothers Songbirds, these puzzles are sure to create smiles as wide as the puzzles themselves)
• Puzzle - 750 Piece Panoramic: New York City Glow in the Dark (same as the regular Panoramics but these cool puzzles also glow in the dark!)
• Puzzle Presto (stop using messy glue - if you like to save your puzzles, this is your product - simply peel off the protective paper and press it to the back of any completed puzzle - the Puzzle Presto bonds immediately and your puzzle is saved with its original pristine finish, devoid of any bubbles, streaks or color runs!)

• Skowhegan Jumbo Gazebo (it’s reminiscent of the Hearst Castle, but much easier to maintain - the Gazebo can be enclosed with Window Walls to create a clubhouse and you can put a Kidnick Table in the bottom  - options for outfitting the Jumbo Gym are dazzling, and there's even a bench swing for the old folks - it comes with 2 swings, a horse swing, CW slider, a fun deck for little ones, crow’s nest and accessories and we liked it with the additions of a rascal ramp, high deck and funnel tunnel - you’ll have the entire neighborhood over and you’ll never want to leave your yard again)

Mattel and Fisher-Price (www.mattel.com) (www.fisher-price.com)
The world's largest toy company, Mattel, Inc. designs, manufactures, markets, and distributes a wide variety of toy products in 150 countries. Their core toy lines include: Barbie dolls, Hot Wheels toy die-cast vehicles; Warner Bros. merchandise, including Harry Potter, Batman, and Looney Tunes; the American Girls; Fisher-Price infant and preschool toys; and games such as Scrabble and UNO.  Mattel's toys have delighted generations of children throughout the world. In 1945, the creators, the Handlers, started Mattel off designing doll furniture. Other products were introduced, some failed, but the failures taught them valuable lessons: child participation was essential for any quality toy; children should be able to interact with a toy and want to play with it often and for extended periods of time. In 1955, they decided to take a gamble that would change the toy business forever. In what seemed risky, the Handlers sponsored a 15-minute segment of Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Club on the ABC television network. The Handlers signed for 52 weeks at a cost of $500,000, equal to Mattel's net worth at the time. Up until this time, toy manufacturers relied primarily on retailers to show and sell their products and advertising occurred only during the holiday season; never before had a toy company spent money on advertising year-round. With television, however, toys could be marketed directly to children throughout the country. Thus with the slogan, "You can tell it's Mattel, it's swell," the Handlers began a marketing revolution in the toy industry that produced an immediate payoff. The Burp Gun was their first hit; then toy rifles and pistols followed. In 1959 Mattel made toy history with the introduction of the Barbie doll, the best-selling toy of all time. The idea for the doll originated with Ruth Handler, who had observed that their daughter favored adult-looking paper dolls over baby dolls. So the Handlers set to work designing a teenage fashion model doll and, despite a cool reception at the 1959 New York Toy Fair, the result was a smash hit, propelling Mattel into the national spotlight. Barbie, the famed doll, was named after the nickname of the Handlers' own daughter Barbara. Barbie has always been the backbone of Mattel and has helped them through their toughest times. There were other dolls as well. Chatty Cathy came next and more dolls followed. Later on, their strategic alliance with the Walt Disney Company allowed them to develop and sell toys at the Disney theme parks. The list of their creations goes on and on. Lots of great stories and too many to list. Check out their individual sites for all of their great toys…

University Games and Front Porch Classics (
http://universitygames.com/
)
They have developed and manufactured over 200 games in the past 24 years. The two creators loved playing games with their families, and grew up thinking that fun and learning were a part of everyday life. As adults, they recognized a developing niche in social interaction and learning games for adults and children, and that is how University Games began. The company philosophy has always been to offer games that encourage social interaction and imagination through gameplay, with learning sprinkled in to season the game. The first product released was Murder Mystery Party. Then came 20 Questions. Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? came next and many more to follow.  Great Explorations brought science and learning/glow-in-the-dark products. Front Porch Classics, our favorite of all their lines, provides “unplugged” family entertainment (love that catchphrase of theirs). Every Front Porch Classics product will combine the same core elements which went into creating the company years ago: Rich Story Telling, Elegant Design, Ageless Appeal and Limitless Play. Each product will feature wood, leather, metal or other high quality and durable materials, built to last a lifetime and elegant enough to be displayed in living rooms everywhere.
